Active USB 3.1 (Gen.1) connection cable - black - 10.0m

The active, bi-directional SuperSpeed USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) USB-A / USB-B connection cable is an indispensable accessory for PC and Mac users to bring USB peripherals such as hard drives, printers, mice, keyboards and USB hubs within reach from behind the desk or across the room. The active cable is bus powered over USB, featuring an integrated amplification chipset to ensure the SuperSpeed USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) performance over very long distances. The combination of nickel-plated connectors, bare copper conductors as well as dense shielding made of foil & braid provides superior cable performance with an error-free data transmission.

PureLink DataSeries - Data Cables for Professional Applications and Installations

The active USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) / USB 3.0 connection cable with USB Type A male / USB Type B male offers full performance with SuperSpeed data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbps for all USB-enabled devices thanks to nickel-plated connections.

The cable is fully backwards compatible with Hi-Speed USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices.

The USB 3.0 / 3.1 (Gen. 1) technology includes the "SuperSpeed" (SS) transfer mode, which allows data to be transferred at speeds of up to 5 Gbps (ca. 300 MB/s). This is approximately ten times the transfer speed of USB 2.0. Use this cable for the fastest possible transfer speed between your computer and external devices.

The active and bi-directional cable features a standard USB type A connector at one end and a standard type B connector at the other end.

For example, the Type A connector can be connected to a computer while the Type B connector fits into any device with a Type B socket.

Many printers, servers, external hard drives and digital photography devices feature Type B connectors.

If you connect a computer with USB 2.0 to a printer with USB 3.0 using a USB 3.0 cable, you will achieve USB 2.0 transfer speeds.

If all three components (computer, cable and printer) implement USB 3.0 / 3.1 (Gen. 1) technology, the USB 3.0 / 3.1 (Gen. 1) transfer rate can be achieved.

The USB cable with nickel-plated connectors is very robust and causes no signal loss, even when plugged in and out frequently.
