The SuperSpeed USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) 4-fold USB-Hub incl. an active extension cable is an indispensable accessory for PC and Mac users to bring USB peripherals such as hard drives, printers, mice, keyboards, and USB hubs within reach from behind the desk or across the room. The hub is bus powered or, if not sufficient via PSU and features an integrated amplification chipset to ensure the SuperSpeed USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) performance over longer distances than a passive USB extensions. The combination of nickel-plated connectors, bare copper conductors as well as dense shielding made of foil & braid provides superior cable performance and error-free data transmission. The delivery includes a 5V / 3.5A power supply.

This is an USB 3.1 (Gen. 1) Hub with an included active repeater cable, enabling the connection to a USB device in up to 10m distance. This USB-Hub incl. repeater cable supports data transfer rates up to 5Gbps and is fully backwards compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 devices.
The additional DC-input port is for the use with devices in need of more power, such as USB HDDs and other "High Power Devices". A 5V / 3.5A PSU is included in the delivery.
A daisy-chain of up to 5 hubs is possible.
The patented locking design assures firm connections between extension cables.
Extremely versatile
The 4-way USB-A hub is fully compatible with the new standard USB-C, but can also be used with older devices and USB standards. This USB hub with 4x USB-A v3.1 (Gen. 1) ports is an absolute must-have to expand one USB-A port to 4 ports while increasing the transmission distance.

Solid construction
The chipset of this USB 3.1 (Gen.1) hub protects against EMI and ESE in addition to the shielding structure, making the USB connection more reliable.
Extensive device compatibility
Connect up to four external devices simultaneously via the USB-3.1 (Gen. 1) / USB 3.0 ports. This enables, for example, the connection of mouse and keyboard to a laptop. Data backup from/to USB sticks is also even faster than before. The USB hub is compatible with all USB-A capable laptops and PCs as well as various mobile devices. The USB 3.1 ports (1st gen.) are backwards compatible to USB 2.0 and USB 1.1.
Notes
In order to guarantee optimum performance, the power consumption of the connected devices should not exceed the specified maximum power output. When charging several mobile devices, such as tablets / smartphones at the same time, there may be bottlenecks in the power supply.
In such a case a power supply (included) with 5V/3.5A power can be connected to the USB hub.
